Ory v25.4.1 released
This release enhances the user experience and developer flexibility in Ory Kratos and Ory Network by improving session context for hooks and streamlining passwordless authentication flows.
Ory Kratos
Session included in all settings hooks payloads
Ory Kratos and Ory Network now include the session object in every payload sent to settings flow hooks.
This addition provides greater contextual awareness for webhooks and automation, enabling session-specific logic during settings updates. You can now perform conditional operations based on session attributes without requiring additional API calls.
Streamlined One-Time Code login flow
The passwordless and two-factor authentication login flows in Ory Kratos and Ory Network have been simplified.
When a one-time code is the only available authentication method, users no longer need to manually request the code after submitting their identifier.
The system now automatically sends the code upon identifier submission, reducing friction and improving the overall login experience.
Ory Hydra, Keto, Oathkeeper, Polis, Elements
No significant changes in this release for Ory Keto, Hydra, Oathkeeper, Polis, and Elements.
This release is now available for Ory Network and Ory Enterprise License and will be included in the next Ory Open Source release.
